If you’re afraid of a counterattack, you’ve already opened the door wide to one. That’s the bottom line. Some intercessors are so afraid of a counterattack that they open the door to it. Others won’t pray at all because they’re afraid. And others are oblivious to the reality of counterattacks, so they go make big messes and find themselves in a bad place. But when we’re braced for something, it doesn’t hit us as hard or as long.
