Pray for Minnesota | 5050 Campaign

Known prophetically as the “Threshing Floor” state, Minnesota is home to key industries such as forestry, health, agribusiness, and retail. Many major national and international corporations and organizations have headquarters in the state, including 3M, Mayo Clinic, Target, General Mills and Best Buy. Minnesota is also home to The Mall of Americas, which is the largest mall in the nation. And, of course, it’s widely known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Beyond its fame, Minnesota has challenges. Minnesota’s workforce is one of its key assets, along with a history of innovation and diversity of industries. But attracting and retaining young workers is a known challenge. Minnesota’s economic and job growth has been falling behind over the past twenty years.

While Minnesota’s urban cost of living is comparatively affordable, it also has some of the highest regional tax rates. The top concerns are healthcare, the economy, social issues, government, and taxes.

This week, Awakening Prayer Hubs is praying for Minnesota.

Let’s pray:

Enter identificational repentance for any history of slavery, covenant breaking, violence and bloodshed during past battles and wars fought on the land, idolatry, and the legalization of abortion.

Pray the Gospel of Jesus Christ would be proclaimed on the media mountain of Minnesota through audio, film, online communication, and print.

Pray for the Gospel to run swiftly through Minnesota.

Pray for the exposure, dismantling, and uprooting of every terror cell within the state.

Ask God to send forth His angel armies to guard and protect along the borders of Minnesota.

Plead the blood of Jesus over the school and university campuses of Minnesota. Pray for the education system to be rooted in biblical truth.

Pray for the 2024 Minnesota elections. Pray for the election of government officials with a heart to see all civil laws aligned with the Word of God.

Pray the spirit of repentance would fall on governing authorities in this state and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Make intercession for all current state and local government officials in Minnesota, where righteous rulership would occupy every seat of government in the land.

Pray Minnesota’s budget surplus would finance the work of Kingdom expansion in that the Lord has given His people the power to create wealth to establish His covenant on the earth.

Pray for the protection of Minnesota’s water infrastructure.

Make intercession to abolish abortion. Speak life over the unborn and pray the people of this state recognize every unborn child is a gift from God.

Decree justice and righteousness is the foundation of Minnesota.

Pray that the Lord’s favor rests on the entrepreneurs of Minnesota, establishing the work of their hands; that the Lord would reveal to business leaders that it is neither them who plants nor waters, but only the Lord who makes these businesses grow.

Pray that the large corporations, small businesses, and agricultural industry of Minnesota work with a spirit of excellence, working for the Lord and not men, knowing that it is the Lord who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

Pray that the Church in Minnesota would be motivated by the love of Christ to reach the lost and expand the Kingdom of God throughout the state.

Pray the Holy Spirit would burn like fire and blow like the wind through the Church in Minnesota.

Pray for unity within the Church and for believers to be strengthened in their inner man.

Pray that God would send more disciples of Jesus across the paths of Muslims and other religious groups within Minnesota; that believers would let their light shine, so unbelievers would see their good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.

Pray for the families of Minnesota to stand strong on the foundation of Jesus so they will not be shaken or moved.

Pray for the Lord to create a pure heart in the men, women, and children within the families of this state and renew a steadfast spirit within them.

Pray the Lord would open over Minnesota His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to the land in its season and to bless all the work of His children’s hands. Declare His children in Minnesota shall lend to many nations and not borrow.

Decree revival, awakening, and societal reformation throughout all facets of society in Minnesota.
