Pray for New Mexico | 5050 Campaign

Known prophetically as the “Supernatural State” New Mexico is known for its diverse landscape, the Roswell incident, white sands, pecans, Chile peppers, hot air ballooning, The Rio Grande, and the birthplace of the atomic bomb.

New Mexico is the fifth-largest state in the U.S. and has a rich Native American heritage. Its highly diversified economy includes agriculture, cattle ranching, lumber, tourism, the arts, and scientific and technological research. Its major sectors are oil and gas, mining, media, film, and aerospace.

But New Mexico has spiritual and natural challenges. Residents cite crime and public safety as critical issues facing the state. Other studies claim drought, mismanagement of water resources, and corporate greed are driving a water crisis. Housing justice, along with mental and physical health of New Mexicans, are paramount.

This week, Awakening Prayer Hubs is praying for New Mexico.

Let’s pray:

Repent for covenant breaking of the First Nations, blood sacrifices, occultism, history of Japanese internment camps during World War II, past history of battles fought on the land, idolatry, legalizing abortion, and immorality.

Pray for New Mexico’s water infrastructure regarding water supply and resources for increased investment needs.

Pray New Mexico’s $4.5 billion in state funding sitting untouched would be allocated for projects where government officials do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and that no one would devise evil against another in their heart.

Pray for the uprooting of all terror cells within the state.

Pray for the opioid crisis; for the exposure and dismantling of drug trafficking rings.

Pray for the overturning of the legalization of cannabis.

Pray for the 2024 elections in New Mexico that voters will cast their ballot according to God’s will.

Pray for protection along the borders of New Mexico.

Pray for refugees seeking asylum that arrive at the New Mexico southern border that the Lord would allow their paths to cross the paths of believers where they can hear the Gospel preached with revival spreading amongst the camp.

Pray the First Nations people, who are called by His name, would humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, that the Lord would hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Pray the state of New Mexico would end the right to abortion, declaring life over the unborn.

Pray for righteous rulership of the current state and local officials.

Pray for the 2024 New Mexico elections – for Godly wisdom to rest on the voters and the election of Kingdom government reformers.

Decree justice and righteousness will be the foundation of New Mexico.

Intercede for all educational institutions in New Mexico, for a spirit of wisdom and knowledge to rest on the campuses.

Pray for the restoration of the state’s educational system regarding education funds to improve the 119% increase in chronic absenteeism, teacher retention, and education performance, aligning with Bible-centric views.

Pray small businesses, large corporations, and the agricultural industry are managed and led with honesty and integrity during the continued economic development in New Mexico—prosperity with Kingdom purpose.

Pray for a bold, righteous remnant who stands for accurate truth on the media mountain of New Mexico.

Pray for the Gospel to run swiftly and for revival fire to cleanse and purify every mountain of societal influence within this state.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to burn like fire and blow like the wind through New Mexico, where miracles, signs, and wonders would follow the Church to be a witness that Jesus is alive.

Pray the body of Christ in the state would rise up with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart of revelation.

Intercede for the high rates of poverty, domestic violence, teen pregnancy, divorce, suicide, and death; for restoration of the moral foundation within the family unit in New Mexico.

Pray the Lord’s covenant people recognize and perceive that He is doing a new thing; He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Declare Isaiah 35 over New Mexico and pray for healing of the land.

Declare awakening and societal reformation throughout the entire state of New Mexico.
